6. Can I drive the rental car outside Kenya?
Most rental companies do not allow cross-border travel with their vehicles, however if you hire from 4×4 Uganda car rentals you are allowed to driver anywhere in East Africa, and If you are to cross, you will need to inform the rental company in advance and obtain the necessary paperwork and insurance.
7. Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
Fuel Policy: Some companies require you to return the car with a full tank, however our policy is we delivery the car on ¼ tank and you need to return it same way.
Additional Drivers: A fee may apply if more than one person will be driving the car. However, if you inform your rental company that more than one driver will sit behind the wheel, no additional costs will incur for that.
Late Return Fees: Returning the car late can incur extra charges. If you will need to extend your car rental period, you are advised to inform your car rental company on time to avoid tis extra fee.
